Accessible information

We can provide council information in a range of formats, including large print, easy read, Braille, audio tape or CD. Contact the Accessible Communications Officer on 01942 827432.

We also provide a free interpreter service for those residents living in the borough who are deaf, which includes BSL interpreters, Signed Supported English interpreters, lip speakers, Palentype operators and deaf/blind interpreters and communicators. You can ask for interpreters for occasions when you feel it is important that you are able to clearly understand what another person is saying. Contact the Sensory Team on 01942 828787 to discuss your needs.

For those residents whose first language is not English, we can also provide face-to-face and telephone interpretation services for occasions when you need to communicate with the council or we need to communicate with you.
